The laboratory

06 — Work

The laboratory

Downstairs, a mill. Five microns. Three hours.

What it is

Most clinics send a file to another city and hope. TETRI keeps the robot in the building. After implants are placed, PIC captures their coordinates. A digital model is built. The mill cuts a bridge to a tolerance of about five microns. That is why a full arch can be finished while a patient still sleeps. The ceramist and the surgeon share a wall, not a portal.

For

  • 01

Anyone whose previous crowns were made in a lab the doctor never met.

  • 02

Full-arch work that cannot wait on a shipping calendar.

  • 03

Cases that need a ceramist in the same conversation as the surgeon.

  1. 01Capture

Photogrammetry of the implants. No analog impression that sags on the way to a lab.

  2. 02Design

The arch is drawn against the face, the lip, and the agreed bite.

  3. 03Mill

Zirconia or a provisional polymer, cut in hours, not weeks.

The laboratory is not a vendor. It is half of the practice.
